I’m glad that you at least acknowledge the critical question: will they succeed in delivering the engineering work that remains ahead of them in order to deliver the innovative and truly integrated AI-driven cyber platform?
There’s no doubt it’s a great story. There’s also no doubt there’s a ton of work left ahead to bring it to real world fruition. In my humble opinion, it’s far from guaranteed that they will succeed -- but as a betting man, I generally agree with your assessment.
Indeed. I'm not necessarily pro PANW - I'm actually pro the strategy. I think this strategy is a fantastic one and CRWD, PANW, MSFT, CSCO, S, and a few others have a shot at it. Given the dynamics of the different vendors I do think PANW is the most likely to suceed.
Great breakdown of the PANW strategy as you see it Tyler. If this is indeed their strategy, as a customer of at least one of their acquired solutions, I'd wager they will need far more than a single year to do the hard technical work to actually integrate all of the piece parts they've acquired.
However, I do agree that to win someone will need to play chess vs checkers and PANW has as good a shot at winning as any of the others.
Hi Dana! Thanks for the comment. Time will tell and I'm betting that they will do well in the long term. I believe in PANW. Thanks for being a subscriber!
Wow! PANW fan man in the house! :-)
